Road safety wristbands launched in Fiji

With at least one road death a week, LTA Manager Road Safety, Timoci Satakala said the majority of accidents concerning children are caused due to pedestrian-driver visibility.

The high visibility wristbands that will be distributed to primary schools around the country are part of the Decade of Action For Road Safety 2011-2020 that was launched in May.

+Wearing visible reflective clothing when cycling , driving a motorcycling, or taking a walk can tremendously increase visibility for automobile drivers hence can avoid a  unnecessary deadly incident. Do your part to save your self !
